Well today I had to speak in church on "The Importance of Accepting and Magnifying your Calling" I think it went okay and a bunch of people complimented me on it. But now we are watching the Daytona 500 which is the 50th anniversary. GO JR!!!! We're having Brenda, Shawn, Ryan Nikki and Kiyah over for the race. (Ryan and Nikki are sluffing church) We're having homemade pizza, breadsticks, chocolate donuts and whatever else Nikki brings. It'll be a big party. Happy day hopefully my post later on will show JR was the winner.

I am Kim, wife to Bob and mom to Cole, Jake and Chase. I work for Mountain America CU and have for almost 13 years and Bob works for Rain Gutter Specialties. In that line of work for 10+ years. Cole is 7 and a 1st grader at Silver Hills Elementary. Jake is 4 1/2 and in preschool. Chase is 2 1/2 and is mom's little boy.
Bob and I have been married almost 9 years so have known each other for almost 10 years. We met through some friends of ours who had met online. When I met him for the 1st time my friend was coming to meet his friend Marc for the 1st time and he was supposed to bring his friend so I had someone. His friend Marc didn't tell him so I showed up on his doorstep there to pick him up. When he came to the door he was covered in grease up to his elbows because he was rebuilding his 4 wheeler engine. We went to a pool hall and was hanging out. He wasn't going to come but decided too. Good thing or who knows where either of us would be today if he hadn't.
We were married on April 1999 in the Mt Timpanogus Temple. Cole was born January 2001 while we were living down in Orem with my parents. Then we moved up to Kearns and had our house built in May 2001. And I was able to start working at home for Mountain America and have been very blessed to be able to do that. Jake came along on July 2003 and then Chase August 2005.We love to camp and do so along with his family.
We have a tradition to go to Fairview every June and also Wasatch State Park in August. Then wherever else we find to go. We have a Camperworld membership so go up to their properties. We also found a new way to travel. My parents took us on a cruise in Feb 2007 to the Western Caribbean and then just went to the Mexican Riviera in Jan 2008. That is a fun way to travel and is a good time! We would recommend it and it's a nice get away from kids. Thanks to our families for helping out with the kids when we've gone.
We are lucky to have Bob's siblings live close to us. We're all within about 2 miles but some much closer than that. It is great to have family close where all my family is farther away. We along with Bob's sister Jenni and her husband bought a business a couple years ago and we named it Advantage Awards. It's an acrylic award company. It keeps us busy and we're now getting into the busy season. We do awards for a dance company and have also done awards for Cole's baseball league. It's fun but can also be very time consuming especially with having full time jobs and that on top of it. That's about us!
